We are seeking motivated, hospitality-driven professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a pre-opening team, helping establish the property's culture, service standards, and operational excellence from day one.

We are seeking a Director of Luxury Leisure Sales. This strategic sales leadership role is responsible for driving luxury leisure revenue through the development of new business opportunities, cultivation of key partnerships, and management of relationships with high-net-worth individuals, luxury travel advisors, family offices, and other influential clients within the luxury travel marketplace. The Director of Luxury Leisure Sales will serve as a brand ambassador for the hotel, positioning the property as a preferred destination for affluent travelers visiting New York City.

The ideal candidate will possess an established network within the luxury travel community, a proven track record of generating luxury leisure revenue, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences that result in repeat business and long-term loyalty.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase luxury leisure revenue and market share.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia partners, family offices, and concierge companies, etc.
  • Identify, solicit, and secure new luxury leisure business opportunities through direct outreach, networking, and strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct sales calls, presentations, and client meetings to promote the hotel's luxury accommodations, amenities, and curated guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase suite, specialty accommodation, and premium room category production.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, industry events, and partner engagements.
  • Serve as a key representative of the hotel within the luxury travel community, attending industry conferences, networking events, and luxury travel trade functions.
  • Develop business from key feeder markets through targeted sales activities and strategic account management.
  • Grasp a complete understanding of the New York City luxury hospitality market, strengths and weaknesses of key competitors, demand generators, and market trends to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to optimize leisure pricing strategies, occupancy, ADR, and total room revenue.
  • Partner with Operations and Guest Experience teams to ensure seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences for VIP and luxury leisure travelers.
  • Actively participate in regular Sales Strategy, Revenue Strategy, and Sales Department meetings.
  • Complete weekly sales reports, production updates, and account activity summaries.
  • Responsible for managing luxury leisure booking opportunities from prospecting through post-stay follow-up and retention efforts.
  • Communicate regularly with hotel leadership regarding market trends, business performance, opportunities, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
