Job Summary
Our Medline Acute Care sales team serves as the main interface for various segments in the hospital such as OR, Cath Lab, ICU, Labor and Delivery, Emergency Department, Materials Management and C‑suite. We engage with clinical and industry leaders to deliver a robust product portfolio and patient‑care solutions, optimizing care with quality hospital supplies and customized solutions.
Responsibilities- Calling on hospitals within the assigned territory to sell products.
- Presenting sales to multiple decision‑makers, leading to product and program sales.
- Developing and nurturing client relationships with key decision‑makers.
- Presenting and selling new products while maintaining existing business.
- Collaborating with peers to ensure teamwork across the continuum of care.
- Demonstrating leadership and the ability to close deals.
- Preparing bids and price quotes.
- Occasionally engaging in cold calling to develop new markets.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of quota‑based sales experience with cold‑calling, commissioned, full‑cycle sales experience, or at least 5 years of such experience.
- Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment.
- Ability to present multiple product lines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to drive a car and travel 90% of each day to meet healthcare providers on site.
Minimum guaranteed earnings of $125,000 for the first year with commission ranging from 0‑4% of net sales. This role is bonus eligible. Our benefits package includes health insurance, life and disability coverage, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, and, for employees working 30+ hours per week, additional benefits such as Employee Assistance Programs and Employee Resource Groups. For part‑time employees working fewer than 30 hours, benefits include 401(k) contributions and paid time off.
