Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: New York

You understand what it takes to cultivate a relationship with someone whose net worth reaches into the billions—and you know how to become their trusted advisor on the most consequential decision they will make for their child. That is this role. If your default approach is to "manage applications" or "optimize conversion funnels," this position is not the right fit. If your instinct is to take complete ownership of relationships over the long term, this may be the most fulfilling role of your career.

Founders School is a four-year high school program in which students launch genuine businesses with a target of $1M in profit by the time they graduate. Annual tuition stands at $150K, backed by a guarantee: $1M in profit by graduation, or full tuition refunded. The inaugural cohort of 20 students begins in New York City in Fall 2026, with plans to scale to 1,000 students over time.

The families we serve rank among the most accomplished and discerning individuals globally—many possess net worths in the hundreds of millions to billions. Every one of these relationships, from initial contact through enrollment and beyond, must be owned by someone.

This position resembles investor relations at a leading fund far more than traditional school admissions. You will steward a portfolio of high-net-worth prospects, guide them through a rigorous evaluation process, secure their commitment to a significant decision, and sustain the relationship over years so that trust deepens: they re-enroll, enroll additional children, and provide referrals within their networks.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Taking full ownership of the pipeline of qualified prospective families—each lead, whether generated inbound, sourced at events, or introduced via referral, becomes a substantive relationship with you at its core. This includes regular calls, considered follow-up, and serving as the person who either possesses the answer to any question or secures it quickly.
  • Organizing and hosting gatherings that connect prospective and enrolled families, ranging from larger informational sessions to smaller, curated dinners and receptions.
  • Shepherding families through the application and due-diligence process—articulating the school's model, the guarantee, and the educational trajectory—and moving them from interested to enrolled without resorting to high-pressure tactics.
  • Maintaining engagement with every family in the ecosystem—those currently deciding, those already enrolled, and those whose younger children may follow. Proactive outreach ensures families hear from you before questions arise.
  • Serving as the human representation of Founders School for these families, and constructing the repeatable relationship and enrollment system that enables the program to operate and expand.
  • Collaborating directly with school leadership who handle the highest-tier conversations early on, while you establish the scalable infrastructure beneath them.

Similar to a fund's rhythm, the year divides into two phases: an active recruitment period during which you cultivate relationships with prospective families and guide them toward commitment, and a stewardship period in which you keep enrolled families connected, proactively informed, and satisfied enough to renew their trust and introduce others.

What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Selling. There are no commissions, no quotas, and no aggressive closings. If a family perceives pressure, we have not succeeded. You are not a salesperson; you are the individual they trust most throughout this decision.
  • Managing selectivity. Traditional admissions revolves around rejection at highly selective institutions. We are building something new and persuading exceptional families to place their confidence in it.
  • Transferring families and stepping back. The relationship does not conclude at the enrollment deposit—it marks the start of a multi-year relationship you continue to own.
  • Being consumed by administrative tasks. Event scheduling, documentation, and enrollment logistics are managed by operations. Your time remains focused on families.
