Job OverviewParallelle is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to lead and grow our wholesale partnerships. Reporting to the Director of Revenue, this role is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with our key wholesale partners while driving growth across established and emerging domestic and international markets. In addition to managing existing accounts, this role will play a key part in identifying and developing relationships with premier retailers, helping expand Parallelle's global wholesale footprint and shape the next phase of the brand's growth while maintaining its premium positioning.
Parallelle's wholesale business is intentionally curated. Ecommerce remains our largest channel, and every wholesale partnership is selected because it reflects the elevated, considered positioning of the brand. The ideal candidate brings strong wholesale account management experience, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the commercial mindset to identify opportunities that drive sustainable, long-term growth. This is a senior role offering significant ownership and autonomy for someone who enjoys building strategic retail partnerships, identifying new growth opportunities, and making a meaningful impact on the continued success of a fast-growing, design-led brand.
Key Responsibilities Account Management & Growth- Manage and grow relationships with Parallelle's key wholesale partners, serving as the primary business partner while driving long-term account growth and customer satisfaction.
- Develop strategic sales and sell-in plans that support seasonal growth objectives for each wholesale account.
- Analyze weekly sales performance, inventory levels, style recaps, and in-stock reports to identify opportunities for continued account growth.
- Maintain showroom samples and line sheets to ensure the brand is always presentation-ready for buyers.
- Build trusted relationships with buyers, merchants, and key retail partners to strengthen existing business and establish new strategic partnerships.
- Research, identify, and cultivate relationships with premier domestic and international retailers that align with Parallelle's premium brand positioning and long-term growth strategy.
- Identify opportunities to expand Parallelle into new geographic markets by developing strategic partnerships with leading retail accounts.
- Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape to identify new wholesale growth opportunities.
- Present well-researched account recommendations and market expansion opportunities to the Director of Revenue before initiating outreach.
- Partner with retail buyers to develop seasonal forecasts, product assortments, and inventory plans that support successful launches and replenishment strategies.
- Lead seasonal sell-in initiatives while managing reorder cadence across active wholesale accounts.
- Monitor sales performance, inventory trends, and product performance to provide recommendations that maximize sell-through and long-term account growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure forecasts accurately support production planning, inventory management, and customer demand.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasting tools, and account performance metrics to support informed business decisions.
- Follow up with accounts on purchase orders and worksheets, routing confirmed orders to Operations for entry and fulfillment tracking.
- Partner with the Production team to keep delivery schedules on track and communicate updates proactively.
- Keep the Design team informed on customer feedback, sales performance, and emerging retailer and market trends that help shape future product development.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Merchandising, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
