Security Sales Account Manager, Advanced Integration

About the Role

Field Sales Role must live in the surrounding area (New York). You will be an Account Executive for Advanced Security Services, selling cutting‑edge, integrated security solutions to a range of sectors.

• Champion Advanced and Integrated Security Services, forging partnerships with established and new accounts across sectors.
• Engage with sophisticated products such as integrated video surveillance, access control systems, and central monitoring devices.
• Develop sales leads, nurture referrals, and network within local associations while attending key trade shows.
• Build and maintain relationships with security consultants, architecture and engineering firms, and the new construction marketplace.
• Conduct physical surveys of client facilities to pinpoint security needs and contribute to system design.
• Craft and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that translate technical features into business benefits.
• Stay current on product offerings, local codes, and industry trends through continuous training, networking, and research.

• Navigate the sales process while collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and other internal partners.
• Connect with various departments (facilities, loss prevention, IT, finance, C‑suite) within customer organizations.
• Initiate breakthrough follow‑ups on prospect communications and proposals.
• Ensure clients fully understand the value of technically sophisticated integrated security systems.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest security system offerings provided by Advanced Services.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of successful direct sales experience in large, advanced security systems, IT, and technology sectors, with a minimum of 3 years focusing on major accounts.
• Experience in the Security Integration Industry, including central control systems and monitoring devices such as CCTV, perimeter and intrusion detection systems, and access control.
• Demonstrable success in achieving sales figures between $1‑3 million in integrated security business.
• Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior‑level executives.
• Strong relationship‑building skills, both internally and externally.
• Action‑oriented, with strong intrinsic motivation and business acumen, able to thrive in a matrix organization.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed.

• Salary range: $87,000‑131,000 (determined by education, experience, and market data).
• Competitive sales incentive plan based on volume and margin on project, quarterly, and annual basis.
