About Arketa
About Arketa Arketa is building the operating system for modern fitness and wellness. Our mission is to make wellness more accessible by empowering studios and wellness entrepreneurs to grow beyond in-person classes. We provide a powerful, all-in-one platform to manage and scale hybrid wellness businesses, whether online, in-person, or both.
With Arketa, studios can manage schedules, accept bookings and payments, build on-demand video libraries, host retreats, run automated marketing, and launch fully branded apps and websites. We make it simple for founders to deliver a seamless, professional experience across every customer touchpoint.
We've raised $15M in Series A funding and are growing quickly. It's a unique moment to join us. We're building a category-defining company in a fast-moving space, and we're looking for a leader who is excited to help shape what world-class partner support looks like in the wellness category.
About the role
As our Sales Enablement Manager, you own the success of our entire sales org through coaching, training, and process — and you are directly accountable for our new hires' first three months. This is a hands-on, in-the-arena role: you'll sit on demos with newer AEs and live cold-calling sessions with SDRs (via Zoom/Nooks), coach in real time, and get reps to full ramp as fast as possible.
You'll run our new-AE incubator: for a core/high-velocity AE's first ~2 months you own them directly, with the goal of getting them their first 3 sales before they graduate into a Sales Manager's team. Mid-Market and Enterprise AEs don't run through the incubator (their cycles are much longer) — but you still train and onboard them like any new hire.
You'll also own the onboarding and ramp program end-to-end, and turn
This is a manager-level enablement role. We are only considering candidates who have been a trainer, in L&D, or in a dedicated sales enablement role before — plus real sales experience of their own.
You will report into our CEO/Co-founder. This role is hybrid 3x a week to our NYC office in No
Ho.
This team is high-velocity and high-volume, growing quickly and experimenting often. Each member of the sales team is highly passionate about our Partners, the wellness space and studios they enable.
What You’ll DoOwn the onboarding and ramp program for AEs and SDRs end-to-endRun the new-AE incubator for core/high-velocity AEs: own them for their first ~2 months and graduate them at their first 3 sales into a Sales Manager's team Onboard and train Mid-Market and Enterprise AEs like new hires on a longer, segment-appropriate ramp (no incubator)
Be directly responsible for new hires' early tenure — get them producing as fast as possible
Sit on demos with newer AEs and coach them live and after the call
Sit in on SDR cold-calling live (Zoom/Nooks), coach on messaging, objection handling and tone in real time Train all new sales hires (SDRs, AEs) across the full sales motion
Coach the broader sales org — call reviews, role-plays, skills development
Build and maintain playbooks, battle cards, demo scripts and objection handling
Own sales process and enablement content, keeping it current as plays evolve
Stand up a call-review/coaching library (Avoma) and a certification process
Partner with managers to identify skill gaps and build targeted training
Use AI (Claude) to build coaching materials, analyses and enablement at scale
Measure enablement impact on ramp time and new-hire performance
Applies to core / high-velocity new AEs (SMB-style motion). These reps start in your incubator, not on a Sales Manager's team. For their first ~2 months, you own their ramp end-to-end — training, live demo coaching, deal support — with a clear graduation bar: their first 3 sales. Once a rep hits it, they graduate into a Sales Manager's team as a ramped, producing seller.
SDRs run through a parallel version focused on their first qualified meetings/pipeline.
Mid-Market and Enterprise AEs are different — no incubator. Their deal cycles are far longer, so "3 sales in 2 months" doesn't fit. They still train and onboard with you like any new hire…
