Business Development, Account Manager, Outside Sales, B2B Sales
We run two collegiate apparel businesses out of one NYC office.
Habits 365 Greek has spent nine years building a multi-million-dollar custom apparel business serving Greek life — 200+ universities and 80+ chapters, producing custom orders for recruitment, bid day, formals, philanthropy events, and everything in between.
Habits Collegiate is our newer premium, fashion-forward women's collegiate line — officially licensed at 20+ universities including Michigan, LSU, Florida, Michigan State, Indiana, Miami, Syracuse, Tulane, and Purdue, sold direct-to-consumer and through campus bookstores.
We're small, fast, and growing quickly. This role sits close to the founders and touches almost every part of how both brands expand.
The RoleWe're looking for someone to own outreach across both businesses — wholesale accounts, chapter and campus organization business, vendors, and new opportunities. If you like cold outreach, building relationships, and getting on a plane to make something happen, this is the seat.
You’ll be the person who finds the door, opens it, and keeps the relationship warm.
What You’ll Do- Build and work a pipeline of campus bookstores (Follett, Barnes & Noble College, independents), boutiques, and retail partners
- Send line sheets, follow up, and close accounts
- Support licensing expansion outreach to new schools
- Grow bulk/custom order volume with sororities, fraternities, Panhellenic and IFC councils, and other campus organizations
- Own outreach around the recruitment, bid day, and formal calendars — the seasonality drives the business
- Reactivate past chapters and expand from one order into a standing relationship
- Recruit and manage campus reps
- Vendor outreach- source and vet new suppliers, decorators, and service partners; keep existing vendor relationships moving
- Opportunity outreach- identify new schools, collaborations, and events worth going after, and own the follow-through
- Trade shows & conventions- represent us on the floor, work the booth, generate and follow up on leads
- Campus activations- help plan and run pop-ups and on-campus events (our first Collegiate pop-up is with Follett at Michigan State this August). Coordinate logistics, product, and staffing on site
- Account support- keep line sheets, order info, and account notes accurate so nothing falls through the cracks
- Some hands-on experience in wholesale, sales outreach, buying, or retail partnerships — internships count
- Comfortable with volume outreach: cold emails, calls, DMs, follow-up sequences
- Organized enough to run a pipeline without being chased
- Strong written communication — you’ll be the first impression for a lot of buyers and chapter leaders
- Genuinely interested in collegiate culture, Greek life, or apparel
- Willing to travel for conventions and activations (roughly monthly during peak season)
- Someone fresh out of college
- Based in NYC and able to work from our office
- Greek life or campus organization involvement — you’ll be selling to people who were recently in your shoes
- Familiarity with Shopify, CRM tools, or basic sales reporting
- Experience at a trade show or campus event
Compensation:
Base salary commensurate with experience + performance bonus ($45k-$50k annually)
You’ll get real ownership immediately, direct exposure to the founders, and a front‑row seat to how two collegiate brands scale side by side. The accounts you open are accounts you’ll be credited for.
