Account Executive, Better Discount

NYC Alliance Company LLC is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Account Executive – Discount Sales to drive sales growth across our better discount product line. This role will be responsible for developing and managing key retail accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and maximizing revenue through strong customer relationships and a deep understanding of the discount apparel market.

The ideal candidate will have proven wholesale apparel sales experience, strong relationships with retailers and buyers and a track record of delivering sales results in the women’s better apparel and/or discount retail space.

• Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies to achieve revenue and sales targets for the better discount product line.
• Manage and grow relationships with key retailers, buyers, distributors, and other wholesale partners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand distribution and market penetration.
• Present product assortments, pricing, and seasonal collections to customers and prospects.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, assortments, and orders while balancing customer needs with company objectives.
• Analyze sales performance, customer activity, market trends, and competitive data to identify opportunities for growth.
• Monitor account performance and proactively develop plans to increase sales, improve sell-through, and expand existing business.
• Maintain accurate account information, sales forecasts, customer activity, and pipeline updates within internal systems.
• Provide regular sales updates, forecasts, and market feedback to sales leadership.
• Deliver a high level of customer service and serve as a trusted point of contact for assigned accounts.
• Stay current on discount retail trends, customer preferences, competitive activity, and changes within the wholesale apparel marketplace.

• Proven track record of success in wholesale apparel sales, preferably within discount retail and/or women’s better apparel.
• Existing relationships with retail buyers and/or discount retailers strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of wholesale sales processes, pricing, margins, assortments, and retail market dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and grow existing customer relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable opportunities.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant wholesale apparel sales experience.
• Proficiency with retail/wholesale sales platforms, and Microsoft Office.

• Annual Salary $80,000 - $85,000
• The offered salary for this position will vary based on role requirements determined by NYC Alliance, skill set and years of experience.
