You understand how to establish trust with individuals worth a billion dollars - and how to guide them through the most consequential choice they'll make for their child. That defines this role. If your default is to manage applications or optimize conversion, this position is not the right fit. If your default is to take full ownership of a relationship over years, this could be the most meaningful role of your career.
Founders School is a four-year high school where teenagers launch real businesses targeting $1M in profit by the time they graduate. Annual tuition is $150K, backed by a guarantee: $1M in profit by graduation, or full tuition refunded. The program begins in New York City in Fall 2026 with 20 students and will scale toward 1,000. Our families rank among the most accomplished and selective individuals globally - many hold net worths ranging from hundreds of millions to billions of dollars.
Every one of those relationships requires a dedicated owner, from initial contact through enrollment and beyond.
This role resembles investor relations at a premier fund - not traditional school admissions. You oversee a pipeline of high-net-worth prospects, guide them through a rigorous engagement process, secure their commitment to a significant decision, and sustain the relationship over years so trust deepens: they re-enroll, enroll siblings, and refer peers.
What You Will Be Doing- Taking ownership of the complete pipeline of qualified prospective families - each lead, whether inbound, event-sourced, or referred, evolves into a genuine relationship with you as the primary contact. Consistent calls, intentional follow-up, and serving as the person who either knows the answer to every question or retrieves it immediately.
- Organizing events that unite prospective and enrolled families, ranging from large informational sessions to smaller dinners and social gatherings.
- Leading families through the application and due diligence process - clarifying the school model, the guarantee, and the trajectory, and moving them from interest to enrollment without resorting to aggressive sales tactics.
- Maintaining engagement with every family in the ecosystem - those evaluating, those enrolled, and those with siblings on the horizon. Proactive outreach ensures families hear from you before they need to reach out.
- Serving as the human embodiment of Founders School for these families, and constructing the scalable relationship-and-enrollment framework that enables the program to operate and expand.
- Collaborating directly with the school heads who manage the highest-tier conversations initially, while you establish the operational infrastructure beneath them.
Similar to a fund, the calendar divides into two phases: an active phase focused on cultivating relationships with prospective families and advancing them toward commitment, and a maintenance phase dedicated to keeping enrolled families engaged, proactively informed, and satisfied enough to renew their trust and refer others.
What You Won’t Be Doing- Selling. There is no commission structure, no quota system, and no aggressive closing. If a family perceives pressure, we have not succeeded. You are not a salesperson; you are the person they rely on most throughout this decision.
- Managing selectivity. Traditional admissions centers on rejecting candidates at schools with 4% acceptance rates. We are building something novel and persuading exceptional families to place their confidence in it.
- Transferring families to others and stepping away. The relationship does not conclude at deposit - it marks the start of a multi-year relationship under your stewardship.
- Getting buried in logistics. Scheduling, documentation, and enrollment administration are managed by operations. Your time remains focused on families.
Key Responsibilities
Within 6 months, you take full ownership of the prospective NYC family pipeline - every contact maintains an active relationship with you, and the heads of school are no longer a constraint on any relationship outside the highest tier. The Fall 2027 cohort families have been individually guided from curiosity to enrollment, every enrolled family receives proactive touchpoints on a defined cadence, and you have created the initial framework for the messaging and family-relationship playbook that does not currently exist.
Within 12 months, the NYC pipeline operates as a structured system rather than an ad hoc effort - you can describe the pipeline status, conversion metrics, and the condition of every family relationship at any moment. Enrolled families are renewing their commitment and generating referrals; retention and referral outcomes are directly attributable to you.
As the program grows toward 1,000 students across multiple cities, you establish and lead the enrollment team reporting to you - recruiting, developing, and defining the family experience at every campus. You are joining at the foundational stage of the function that will…
