Help Bring Innovative Products to Retailers Across North America

At Kikkerland Design, we believe everyday objects should be smart, functional, and bring a little joy. For almost 35 years, we've partnered with leading retailers across North America and around the world to bring innovative, design-driven products to millions of consumers.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Key Account Sales Coordinator with hands-on wholesale or major retail account experience to join our Sales Team in New York City.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has experience supporting wholesale customers, key accounts, or major retailers and enjoys the coordination, problem-solving, and relationship-building that goes into supporting important retail accounts.

You'll work closely with the Sales Team and collaborate with buyers, sales representatives, and teams across Kikkerland to keep major customer programs moving from purchase order through delivery.

Our headquarters are in the vibrant No

Ho neighborhood of New York City, where we work together in a collaborative hybrid environment (minimum four days in the office).

What You’ll Do

As a Key Account Sales Coordinator, you'll help ensure our retail customers receive outstanding service while supporting the daily operations of our sales team.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Support the day-to-day management of key retail accounts and wholesale customers.
  • Manage customer orders from PO receipt through delivery, ensuring accuracy and monitoring confirmations, backorders, allocations, shipping timelines, discrepancies, and potential risks.
  • Manage needs of multiple concurrent customer programs.
  • Communicate regularly with retail buyers, wholesale customers, and independent sales representatives.
  • Serve as a reliable point of coordination for routine internal, buyer, and sales-representative requests.
  • Coordinate with Accounting, Logistics, E-Commerce, Product Development, and other internal teams to keep customer programs on track.
  • Manage customer and item setup, retailer/vendor portals, product submissions, samples, and other time-sensitive account requirements.
  • Prepare product presentations, item setup forms, and customer documentation.
  • Prepare and ship product samples for customer meetings and presentations.
  • Produce sales reports and assist with ongoing account analysis.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and independent sales representatives.
  • Support special projects and initiatives that help drive sales growth.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who understands the pace, coordination, and attention to detail required to support wholesale and major retail customers. You enjoy working with people, take ownership of your responsibilities, and are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Ideal candidates will have:
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years supporting wholesale, key account, national account, or major retail customers.
  • Experience coordinating customer orders, purchase orders, or similar order-management processes.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in consumer products or another product-based wholesale business is a plus.
  • Experience with retailer/vendor portals, item setup, product submissions, or trade shows is a plus.
  • Work with some of North America's leading retailers.
  • Be part of a creative company known worldwide for innovative products.
  • Join a collaborative team where your ideas and contributions matter.
  • Gain exposure to every aspect of the wholesale retail business.
We offer
  • Generous Paid Time Off, including our year-end holiday week closure.
  • Medical and dental insurance (employee contribution required).
  • Employee product discounts.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within a growing sales organization.
