Role OverviewThe Transplant Engagement Manager (TEM) is a field-based commercial engagement role responsible for expanding stakeholder engagement and reinforcing adoption within priority hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) programs across academic medical centers and health systems within an assigned geography. This role supports broader engagement across transplant programs by amplifying educational messaging about the practical, on-label uses and benefits of GRAFAPEX. The TEM ensures opportunities are consistently followed through across priority transplant centers through ongoing promotional engagement, field execution, and coordinated follow-up.
The Transplant Engagement Manager engages with transplant physicians and broader BMT stakeholders to support activities such as speaker programs, lunch & learns, congress support, and other approved promotional activities aligned to transplant center priorities and stage of adoption.
Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Engagement & Adoption Support- Expand engagement across priority and underpenetrated HSCT programs, including transplant physicians, pharmacists, APPs, nursing teams, transplant coordinators, and operational stakeholders
- Establish and maintain professional relationships across the broader BMT care team within target transplant centers
- Support transplant centers navigating through key adoption stages, including
1) listed to first use and
2) early use to repeat use - Maintain ongoing engagement to identify and understand barriers. Provide appropriate support or triaging to cross functional partners.
- Identify opportunities for deeper physician engagement and appropriate involvement of Medical Affairs and Market Access field partners
- Reinforce awareness, understanding, and practical application of GRAFAPEX through on-label educational activities.
- Execute approved promotional and engagement activities aligned to transplant center opportunity and stage of adoption
- Reinforce approved messaging related to the clinical benefits and practical utility of GRAFAPEX
- Support consistent follow-through and visibility into status, barriers, and next steps within priority transplant centers
Coordinate and support:
- speaker programs
- lunch & learns
- peer-to-peer engagement opportunities
- congress-related follow-up activities
- approved promotional discussions
- Partner closely with Regional Account Directors to align engagement activities with institutional priorities, adoption support, and access readiness
- Connect stakeholders with Medical Science Liaisons to address clinical/medical questions
- Support coordinated field execution across priority transplant centers through regular communication and aligned follow-through
- Provide insights related to engagement activity, adoption barriers, stakeholder dynamics, and local HSCT market needs within assigned geography
- Share field observations to support commercial planning, execution priorities, training needs, and resource development
- Support cross-functional understanding of site-specific needs and engagement opportunities
- 5–8+ years of experience in oncology/hematology commercial roles, specialty pharmaceutical field roles, or related healthcare environments
- Experience working within academic medical centers and/or HSCT environments strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience engaging transplant physicians and supporting product adoption in complex clinical settings
- Experience supporting product launch, utilization growth, or field-based promotional execution preferred
- Strong ability to build relationships and influence without direct authority
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to operate effectively within a matrixed field environment
- Base salary range: $190,000 - $260,000 USD
- Annual bonus target: $50,000 USD target; quarterly payout
- Travel: up to 70%
