Manhattan Jeep is hiring an Automotive Sales Representative to join our growing dealership team. We’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused sales professional who wantsuncapped earning potential, paid training, and opportunities for career growth.

Automotive sales experience is preferred, butsales experience from retail, consumer finance, call centers, hospitality, or other customer-facing industries is highly transferable.

• Assist customers in selecting new and pre-owned vehicles that meet their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Build relationships with customers in person, by phone, and through internet leads
• Respond promptly to leads and schedule appointments
• Conduct professional vehicle presentations and test drives
• Overcome objections and close sales
• Follow up consistently with leads, appointments, prior customers, and unsold prospects.
• Maintain customer information and activity in the CRM
• Complete sales paperwork accurately
• Partner with sales management and the finance team to complete vehicle transactions
• Deliver vehicles and explain features, warranties, and paperwork
• Build repeat and referral business through excellent customer service
• Follow dealership policies and applicable
  
  New York State and federal automotive sales laws

• Previous automotive, retail, commission, or customer-facing sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, customer-focused approach.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and other sales technology.
• Ability and willingness to learn dealership products, processes, and compliance requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets the dealership’s insurance and vehicle-use requirements.
• Availability to work Saturdays and other scheduled dealership hours.
• Employment may be contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and driving-record review conducted in accordance with applicable law.
