Financial Sales
Our client is an independent asset manager, overseeing more than USD
190bn for their clients across a range of equity, fixed income, multi asset and alternative strategies. They provide specialist investment services through segregated accounts and investment funds to some of the world’s largest pension funds, financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds, intermediaries and their clients.
The Sales Associate will provide broad distribution support across the US sales team, covering both the Intermediaries and Institutional channels. This is a generalist role designed to build operational effectiveness across the whole sales organization and is based in New York City.
Reporting into the Head of Intermediaries, the individual will work in close partnership with senior distribution professionals to ensure consistent pipeline management, high-quality client engagement, and disciplined follow-through across all channels.
Given the extent to which the senior sales team is travel-intensive, the Sales Associate will be a permanent, full-time office presence in NYC – providing continuity, proactive outreach, and operational support while colleagues are on the road. This makes the role a critical anchor for the day-to-day functioning of the distribution team.
This role offers a strong foundation for a career in institutional or intermediary asset management sales, with direct exposure to a broad range of investment strategies, client segments, and distribution channels.
Experience and Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in financial services, asset management, or a related field.
- Strong academic background; undergraduate degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline preferred
- Genuine interest in investment management and a desire to build a career in institutional or intermediary distribution
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging professionally with senior financial professionals including RIAs, field consultants, and institutional allocators

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality client-facing materials
- Collaborative team player who is proactive, resourceful, and able to work effectively across teams
- Committed to being office-based full-time in NYC, providing consistent support and presence for a travel-heavy sales team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and data platforms (e.g. Dakota, FINTRX) is a plus
