As we expand, we’re looking for a driven and motivated Salesperson to join our NYC team.
Role OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for prospecting leads (but we already lead gen, so you'll get qualified leads to research and reach out to), building relationships with potential borrowers through cold calling, and guiding them through the loan process from start to finish. If you’re a goal-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a desire to grow your career in real estate finance, we want to hear from you.
The role requires you to be on the phone quite a bit, both with cold calling/outreach but also just working warm leads and repeat clients. If you're a fan of texting more than talking, then definitely not the role for you.
- Lead Generation:
Identify and qualify prospective real estate investors looking for financing. - Cold Calling:
Reach out to prospective borrowers through cold calling (a large part of the role will require this) - Loan Consultation:
Assess clients’ financing needs and recommend appropriate loan products, such as bridge loans, fix-and-flip financing, or rental property loans. - Relationship Building:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with borrowers, providing expert guidance throughout the loan process. - Sales Performance:
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective prospecting and closing of loan deals. - Collaboration:
Partner with internal teams, including underwriting and loan processing, to ensure smooth transactions and exceptional client service. - Follow-up & Retention:
Engage in post-closing communication to foster repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- 1-3 years of sales experience is ideal but not necessary (Real estate lending, mortgage brokerage, or real estate investment experience is a plus, but not required).
- Eagerness to develop a deep understanding of real estate investment financing, including bridge loans, fix-and-flip loans, and rental property loans.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously while prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field (preferred).
- $80K–$120K realistic first-year earnings. Top reps make much more. Base salary $55K–$65K + uncapped commission. Benefits:

It's in person, we have a few offices within a WeWork on 7th ave and 37th Street. You'll have your own dedicated work space/desk. M-F, in-person/in-office. We work hard and we have a good time -- oh, and your lunch is covered daily (!).
