Bluefish is entering a critical growth phase and is seeking a high-impact Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to build and scale the company’s go-to-market strategy and revenue execution. This leader will own the full revenue function across Bluefish’s initial roster of AI products, driving top-line growth while establishing a repeatable, scalable revenue engine.
The Chief Revenue Officer will own the entire revenue function at an early stage, including go-to‑market strategy, sales execution, and team building. This is a highly hands‑on role requiring both strategic leadership and direct execution. You will define and execute the company’s initial go-to‑market strategy, personally close enterprise deals, and build the foundation for a scalable sales organization.
You will report directly to the CEO and be accountable for delivering strong revenue outcomes quickly in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment.
What You’ll Be Doing- Deliver revenue results quickly, taking ownership of bookings and growth
- Personally lead and close complex, high‑ACV enterprise and brand deals ($1M+ ACV)
- Build and own the end‑to‑end revenue engine, including pipeline generation, forecasting, and the transition to a scalable sales organization
- Develop, execute, and iterate on the company’s go‑to‑market strategy with limited existing infrastructure
- Establish pricing, positioning, and sales motions, iterating rapidly based on market feedback
- Establish clear revenue metrics, targets, and accountability
- Design and implement effective early‑stage sales processes, playbooks, and operating rhythms
- Recruit, attract, and build a high‑performing sales team as the business scales
- Coach, manage, and develop sales talent while maintaining a high‑performance culture
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to ensure strong GTM alignment
- Serve as a core member of the leadership team and strategic partner to the CEO
- Contribute positively to company values and help raise the overall performance bar
- Proven experience owning and scaling revenue in an early‑stage, high‑growth startup environment
- Demonstrated ability to sell complex, technical products to large brands
- Strong hands‑on sales execution skills, including the ability to operate as an individual contributor
- Experience building, leading, and scaling sales organizations and processes
- Familiarity with martech ecosystems, buying cycles, and brand decision‑makers
- Strong understanding of AI concepts and marketing data platforms
- Ability to move quickly and execute with urgency
- Comfort working in fast‑paced, high‑intensity, ambiguous environments
- Experience partnering closely with founders and executive teams
- Rapid development and execution of a repeatable go‑to‑market motion
- Consistent closure of high‑value enterprise deals
