Sales Intern

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Sales Intern to support our manufacturing-focused sales team in the construction materials industry. In this role, you will assist with customer research, quoting, and sales reporting while gaining hands-on exposure to B2B sales of cement, aggregates, and concrete. Working closely with sales, operations, and logistics, you'll help prepare proposals, maintain CRM data, and analyze market trends.

Responsibilities

• Support sales team with customer research and lead qualification
• Assist with preparing quotes, proposals, and bid packages
• Update and maintain CRM and sales reports
• Analyze sales data and market trends for assigned territory
• Coordinate with operations, logistics, and customer service on orders
• Help prepare sales presentations and product materials
• Participate in ride-alongs, plant/site visits, and safety meetings
• Respond to basic customer inquiries under supervision
• Support tracking of KPIs and sales performance metrics
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safety-focused culture
