The company Fastems is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The role covers customers in the eastern United States. You will implement Fastems’ sales strategy within the region and develop your assigned territory. You should have sales experience in a manufacturing environment. The goal is to maximize and grow revenue and profits while selling Fastems’ solutions to existing customers and new business.
The Regional Sales Manager will work on a sales team and collaborate with Inside Sales and Business Development. Travel is estimated at 50% or as needed to achieve objectives.
- Create and implement effective direct sales strategies; forecast, report, and keep sales cases updated in the CRM; drive issues to achieve Fastems’ sales objectives.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers and prospects; report market needs to product lines and management.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets; maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price; keep up with supply and demand trends and competitors.
- Meet with existing customers, partners, and new prospects to understand evolving business needs and position Fastems’ offerings.
- Negotiate with customers and partners to close contracts.
- Expand customer understanding and use of Fastems’ offerings and capabilities.
5+ years in demanding automation solution or system sales. Technical know-how in manufacturing automation industry; knowledge of ERP, scheduling, automation, tool management, and program management. A 4-year or master’s degree is preferred but not required.

- Knowledgeable about the manufacturing automation business, processes, and best practices.

- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a demanding automation solution or system sales, Technical know-how in manufacturing automation industry and processes and/or technology/metal industry and/or machine tool building and/or robotics industry, Specific knowledge of ERP, scheduling, automation, tool management, and program management in a manufacturing environment
