Gellert Global Group seeks an Area Sales Manager to drive growth for its imported food portfolio across a defined territory. This role manages key food service, retail, and industrial accounts, builds new business, and executes sales strategies in the wholesale trade. Responsibilities include prospecting, presenting product solutions, negotiating pricing and programs, and collaborating with logistics, procurement, and operations to ensure reliable supply.
The manager analyzes sales data and market trends, prepares forecasts, and maintains strong customer relationships aligned with Gellert's family-oriented, integrity-driven culture and global network.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales across an assigned territory in the wholesale food trade.
- Develop and maintain relationships with food service, retail, and industrial customers.
- Prospect and close new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Present product solutions, negotiate pricing, and structure customer programs.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and operations to ensure reliable product supply.
- Analyze sales performance and market trends to prepare forecasts and territory plans.
- Maintain accurate records and pipeline in CRM and prepare regular sales reports.
- Coordinate with marketing to support promotions and customer presentations.
- Resolve customer issues promptly while upholding service and quality standards.
