We’re now looking for a Sales / Business Development Associate to join our team!
Roomo is a NYC-based startup building a modern furniture rental experience for city renters. We're looking for an energetic, outgoing, and resourceful person to help us grow partnerships with residential buildings across New York City.
What You'll Do- Visit apartment buildings and leasing offices
- Introduce Roomo to property managers and building staff
- Build relationships with residential communities and property management teams
- Identify partnership opportunities with apartment buildings
- Conduct outreach via email, phone, and in person
- Track leads and partnership opportunities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable talking to strangers and starting conversations
- Self-motivated and proactive
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy meeting new people, starting conversations, and building relationships from the ground up.
- Sales, hospitality, real estate, or startup experience
- Familiarity with NYC residential buildings
Part-Time | Flexible Hours
$20/hr + potential performance bonus
Expected commitment: 5-10 hours per week
This is a project-based temporary role expected to last approximately 1–2 months, with the possibility of continued opportunities as Roomo grows.
