As Wolf Hound expands throughout New York and the Northeast, we’re looking for someone who wants the opportunity to help build the company alongside us.
The PositionWolf Hound Nitro is seeking a Market & Brand Manager – New York to lead our day-to-day sales and brand-building efforts across New York State, with a heavy concentration on New York City.
This is a hands-on position combining sales, distributor management and brand development
.
The Market & Brand Manager will work directly with the CEO and our distributor partners to grow both on-premise and off-premise business, develop new accounts, increase velocity within existing accounts and execute Wolf Hound’s overall sales strategy.
While New York will be the primary responsibility, the position may also support additional Northeast territories as Wolf Hound continues to expand.
Responsibilities- Drive sales throughout NYC and New York State across both on-premise and off-premise channels
- Prospect, present, sample and close new accounts
- Develop relationships with bars, restaurants, retailers, chains, buyers and beverage directors
- Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular market visits and follow-up
- Increase product velocity, reorders and permanent placements
- Identify and pursue key-account and chain opportunities
- Execute tastings, promotions, events, displays and other market programs
- Achieve established monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
- Develop strong relationships with distributor management, brand managers, sales managers and sales representatives
- Conduct regular distributor ride‑withs and market work
- Present Wolf Hound products and priorities at distributor sales meetings
- Train and educate distributor sales teams on the Wolf Hound portfolio and brand story
- Establish distributor priorities and follow up on execution
- Monitor distributor inventory, depletions, placements and market performance
- Identify areas of opportunity and work with distributor partners to develop plans for growth
- Prepare for, attend and present at Annual Business Plan meetings with multiple distributor partners
- Maintain accurate account pipelines and sales activity through company CRM and sales‑support systems
- Track depletions, revenue, distribution, placements, velocity and reorder activity
- Provide regular sales forecasts, market updates and performance reports directly to the CEO
- Use sales data to identify opportunities and areas requiring additional attention
- Manage multiple distributor relationships and market priorities simultaneously
- Develop corrective plans when sales performance falls behind established goals
Brand Development
- Become an expert on Wolf Hound Nitro, our products, positioning and the nitro beer category
- Represent Wolf Hound professionally in the market
- Ensure strong execution of the brand at both on‑premise and off‑premise accounts
- Support product launches and expansion into new markets
- Represent Wolf Hound at tastings, festivals, trade events and industry functions
- Provide leadership with regular feedback on competitors, customers and market trends
Budget Management
- Manage an approved territory sales and expense budget
- Submit expenses accurately and on time
