Bryant Park and Columbus Circle. This is a part‑time position and the schedule runs from Oct 26 - Jan 4. You will be trained to work at both locations and may be picking up shifts at either one.
My products are silly and sarcastic, so I'm looking for someone who can match the vibe of the customers and the art and be energetic, engaging and calm under pressure when it gets busy. I am a high‑volume seller and it's important to ring people up quickly...while still being friendly and engaging.
Prior retail experience selling during a busy season is preferred, along with a strong, reliable and responsible work ethic.
Job duties:- Be on time for all shifts
- Put away restock items in the morning
- Clean and straighten the booth in the morning
- Guide customers and relay the background of the business
- Ring up sales using a Square POS system
- Manage the cash drawer
- Restock the booth throughout the day
- Keep the booth clean and inviting
- Close out the booth at the end of the day
In the kindest possible way, please don't apply unless you are available to work shifts during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's and are available on the holidays.
Please note that these are outdoor events, and although you will be in a sheltered booth with heaters, you should be prepared to dress warmly.
Rate: $24/hour
Training is also paid.
