  • Formulate, submit and implement the annual North America Groups and MICE sales strategy, action plan and budget in alignment with the Group’s commercial objectives and the annual hotel sales targets.
  • Drive qualified group rooms, catering and event revenue from North America for The Peninsula Hotels and Quail Lodge, with a focus on meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions, corporate groups, high end social groups, leisure groups, entertainment, …
  • Identify, develop and manage a portfolio of high-potential Groups and MICE accounts, including corporate meeting planners, incentive houses, destination management companies, event agencies, associations, entertainment accounts, luxury travel partners and specialist group intermediaries.
  • Work closely with hotel sales, catering and events to qualify leads, support pricing and availability discussions, coordinate proposals and bring support to convert enquiries into profitable confirmed business.
  • Ensure North America Groups and MICE sales production targets are met or exceeded through disciplined account management, proactive solicitation, pipeline build up tracking and regular account performance reviews.
  • Plan and execute sales calls, client events, roadshows, familiarisation trips, site inspections, trade shows and industry activations that build awareness of The Peninsula’s meeting, event and incentive offering across North America.
  • Represent The Peninsula Hotels at relevant Groups and MICE trade events and partner forums, ensuring strong brand positioning and follow-up with all qualified opportunities.
  • Provide market intelligence on North American Groups and MICE trends, booking windows, competitor activity, planner requirements and destination demand to inform sales strategy and hotel-level decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account profiles, lead records, activity reports and pipeline information in the relevant sales systems to support effective direct marketing, account planning and reporting.
  • Complete weekly sales activity reports, month-end production updates, post-event reports and other analyses as requested by the Senior Vice President, Sales.
  • Partner with Head Office and hotel teams to ensure consistent messaging, compelling group and event sales & marketing materials, and a seamless luxury client experience from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute North America Group & Mice focused sales missions and activations under the direction of the Senior Vice President, Sales, including pre-planning, appointment setting, post-visit follow-up and measurable reporting.
