Account Manager (Mid-Atlantic Region) Join The Team! CSG is looking for a results-driven Account Manager to expand our presence in the Mid-Atlantic region, covering New York, New Jersey, and Delaware. If you're passionate about developing new business in aerospace, defense, and energy markets and thrive on building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Hunt and win large new accounts valued at $100K+ annually
- Build trusted relationships with prime contractors, Tier 1 suppliers, and casting companies
- Develop strategic territory plans and target key market sectors
- Collaborate cross-functionally with plants in New Jersey and Connecticut
- Manage multiple projects and customer expectations simultaneously
- Travel approximately 60% within the territory (local drives and longer trips)
- 8+ years in technical sales, metals, casting, forging, machining, or aerospace sales (flexible for proven success)
- Experience with companies like Howmet, Doncasters, PCC preferred
- Strong market knowledge and hunter mentality
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to new business development
- Opportunity to lead growth initiatives in a growing industrial setting
- Work with industry-leading engineers, scientists, and technicians
