Evolution
IQ is seeking highly experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to partner with Product and Engineering teams in developing a cutting‑edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) product for Workers' Compensation Adjusters. The SME's role involves providing expert validation, feedback, and real‑world context on the product's features, user experience, and the quality of AI‑generated outputs.
- AI Output Validation:
Critically assess the accuracy, relevance, completeness, and utility of AI-generated summaries and recommendations against source medical documents (e.g., Provider Visit Notes, Physician Statements, Medical Bills). - Product Evaluation:
Actively use and evaluate pre‑release versions of the product, leveraging claims handling knowledge to assess decision‑making processes. - Data Labeling:
Accurately label medical information within insurance claims data, identifying key facts, diagnoses, and treatments. - Prompt Editing:
Edit Large Language Model (LLM) prompts to leverage claims‑handling expertise. - Workflow Insight:
Provide feedback on product integration into daily claims management workflows, identifying pain points and improvement opportunities. - User Experience (UX) Input:
Offer feedback on the user interface to ensure it is intuitive for claims professionals.
- Experience:
1-5+ years of recent, hands‑on experience as a Worker's Compensation or Lost Time Claims Adjuster (Bodily Injury/Liability focus). - Technical Aptitude:
Comfortable with computers and learning new software; familiarity with data labeling tools or NLP is a plus. - Critical Thinking:
Ability to review complex medical, legal, and financial documentation to evaluate key information. - Communication:
Excellent written and verbal skills to articulate feedback clearly to non‑claims teams (Product and Engineering). - Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in validation.
- Experience in training, mentoring, or process improvement roles within a claims environment.
- Specific experience using AI or automation tools in a professional setting.
- Type:
Paid user research project focused on Workers' Compensation claims expertise. - Compensation:
Varies based on participation level, experience, and scope of involvement. - Hours:
