Student Intern

Position Summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine invites applications for a Student Intern in the Otolaryngology research program. The role is designed for medical or graduate students who will participate directly in research activities, including conferences, seminars, and human subjects research principles within Otolaryngology and its subspecialties.

• Coordinate research and quality improvement activities
• Enroll participants
• Onboard research team members
• Manage database and data entry
• Coordinate with research team and statistician on data analysis
• Communicate and meet weekly with principal investigator to review progress and address challenges
• Prepare abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts for presentation

• One year of medical school completed. Current full‑time student, or if working during summer months (mid‑May through mid‑September) must plan to return to full‑time status in fall.
• Must perform non‑bargaining‑unit research‑related work.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organization.

Salary range: $17.00 - $17.00 hourly. Actual salaries depend on experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range does not include bonuses or other compensation.
