College Laboratory Technician (Classroom)
Job : 32161
Salary Range:
Salary range: $76,147 - $81,259 commensurate with experience.
High School Diploma with four years of related experience required. An associate degree may substitute for two years of experience, and a bachelor's degree for four years.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in biology or related field
- Four years of college laboratory experience supporting Biology courses
- Knowledge of taxonomy, specimen dissection, microbiology techniques, and bacterial culture maintenance
- Experience maintaining marine and freshwater aquaria
- Skilled in microscope use, maintenance, and repair
- Proficiency in Smart board, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and LMS systems
- Experience with purchasing and inventory control
- NYCFD C-14 Certificate preferred
