Transportation Analyst I – Tolling Operations
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Transportation Analyst I – Tolling Operations!
This position will work out of our Hawthorne, NY office.

Be involved in projects with our Mobility Operations Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
- Assist the HVTMC and NYSDOT in informing the public and partner agencies on the impact of weather, construction, maintenance, and other activities;
- Ensure that work zone setup meet NYSDOT standards and conform to policies;
- Report on and ensure that the Department's external condition reporting systems (Openreach and 511NY) are timely and accurate;
- Collect, analyze and report on HVTMC performance;
- Assist in HVTMC asset management and recordkeeping; conduct TMC/TSMO related studies/investigations, assist in ITS scope development, and work with contractors to correct reporting deficiencies in TMC systems.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 0-2 years of experience as a Transportation Analyst Computer/Software including MS Office applications, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Personnel management
- Work Zone Traffic Control design and/or implementation.
- Data analytics including economic evaluation, systems evaluation and predictability/performance evaluation
- Geographic Information System (GIS), asset management, basic software development
- Mapping (Arc Map, Arc View, ArcGIS, or equivalent)
- Oral and written communication.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
- Construction inspection, supervisions, or management with experience in roadwork and work zone traffic control.

- Performing multiple tasks simultaneously and independently; interpersonal skills and ability to train others
- Working and getting along with others in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree
- National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET)
