Vineyard and Winery Specialist

Job Summary

Bet the Farm Winery, a woman‑owned family business, is seeking a candidate for a 32‑hour per week, year‑round position starting mid‑July. We currently have 6 acres of producing red vinifera vines and produce approximately 2000 cases annually.

Work Location:

In person.

Involved in all aspects of the growing season in the vineyard: shoot positioning, suckering, mowing, leaf pulling, cluster thinning, crop estimates, and grape sampling as we approach harvest.

During harvest: roll nets, distribute lug boxes, prepare the crush pad, assist in hauling in fruit, crush pad operation, pressing and fermentation activities.

Cellar work: yeast inoculation, racking, filtration, bottling and sanitation procedures.

• Experience in vineyard or winery: 1 year (Preferred)
• Ability to commute to Trumansburg, NY 14886 (Required)
• Ability to relocate to Trumansburg, NY 14886 before starting work (Required)
