Wegmans Organic Farm & Orchard in Canandaigua, NY offers the opportunity to join a team passionate about sustainable agriculture and growing high-quality organic produce. As a seasonal worker, you'll work hands-on in the fields harvesting fruits and vegetables, helping bring fresh, local produce from farm to table while gaining valuable experience in agriculture.

** What You'll Do*
* + Plant, cultivate and harvest crops, including watering, composting, weeding, and applying organic sprays

+ Drive/operate farm machinery when necessary

+ Grade and package crops for marketing and selling within our stores

+ Work effectively in a team-based environment, assist as necessary to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner

+ Complete tasks timely without sacrificing quality

+ Strictly adhere to food and human safety guidelines and procedures

+ Perform work both outside in various weather conditions as well as indoors as needed

** Requirements*
* + Provide incredible service by bringing enthusiasm to every task

+ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

+ Strong time management skills

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Agricultural experience or related coursework

+ Experience working with agricultural equipment/tools
