Analytical Chemist
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical and life sciences organization, is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join their team. As an Analytical Chemist, you will be part of the Analytical Laboratory Department supporting the R&D, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Manufacturing Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:
Pearl River, NY. Pay Range: $37 - $42 H/r
- Perform qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, titration, and related analytical techniques.
- Develop, validate, and document analytical methods for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Interpret analytical data, prepare technical reports, and maintain accurate laboratory records.
- Ensure compliance with GLP, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements including FDA and EPA standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, QA/QC, and manufacturing teams while troubleshooting instrumentation and analytical issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
- 5-7 years of experience in an analytical laboratory environment.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and other analytical instrumentation.
- Strong technical writing, data analysis, and laboratory documentation skills.
- Knowledge of GLP, laboratory safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
