The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) seeks a Scientist (Water Ecology) II for Hawthorne Laboratory to collect samples from streams and reservoirs and report water quality data to the Drinking Water Operations Directorate.
You will operate field sampling equipment, sometimes on boats, and perform data compilation and reporting under supervision. A NYS driver license is required, and you may work shifts including nights and weekends.
