About the Role
Grade Level (for internal use): 10. The Index Governance Operations (IGO) Methodology Team at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) maintains the document library hosting all S&P DJI methodologies, policy documents, and related communications for S&P DJI indices. The team manages and maintains the document library to adhere to regulatory and stylistic norms so clients can clearly understand the objectives and mechanics of S&P DJI indices used as benchmarks.
The team also owns and manages the systems and workflows defining the library.
The role is for an Analyst to support the systems and processes that maintain the methodology library. The Analyst must be highly motivated, multi-skilled with excellent systems, editorial, and project management skills.
Role and Responsibilities- Owning and managing the document editorial review process.
- Implementing and overseeing workflows related to document library maintenance.
- Conducting editorial on annual methodology reviews and performing regular standard document maintenance.
- Working with stakeholders such as IT and the wider IGO team to improve methodology-related workflows.
- Participating in system and workflow design and refinement in an AGILE framework to drive continual improvement and efficiencies.
Anticipated base salary range: $95,061 to $110,500, based on geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. The role is eligible for an annual incentive plan and additional S&P Global benefits.
What We’re Looking ForBasic Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Prior experience in the index business.
- Proficiency in Atlassian suite (JIRA and Confluence).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and leadership in coordinating across internal groups.
- Ability to work with globally located teams.
- Self‑starter mentality with desire to drive processes and achieve results in a fast‑paced environment on multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum three years’ experience in finance, financial journalism, technical writing, editing, systems design & management, or related fields.
- Experience using Power Automate.
- Broad knowledge of global markets, spanned across all asset classes.
- Knowledge of content management systems.
- Experience working in an AGILE environment.
- Proficiency in coding or systems design and management.
- Right to work requirements: role limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
