What You'll Do
As a Laboratory Technician, you'll gain valuable industry experience while supporting laboratory and production operations. You'll receive hands-on training and work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced scientific environment.
Key responsibilities include:
+ Performing laboratory processes such as extractions, filtrations, clarification, and compounding activities.
+ Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment including centrifuges, freeze dryers, ball mills, pH meters, and other specialized instruments.
+ Following calibration, verification, and quality procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
+ Maintaining laboratory documentation, cleaning logs, maintenance records, and quality paperwork.
+ Supporting inventory and production-related activities through SAP and other internal systems.
+ Adhering to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For
+ Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, or another science-related discipline.
+ Laboratory experience through coursework, undergraduate research, internships, co-ops, or professional work experience.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
+ Ability to accurately follow procedures and maintain documentation.
+ Interest in scientific manufacturing, laboratory operations, or pharmaceutical/biotech careers.
+ Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and software systems.
+ Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to grow professionally.
+ Ability to work full-time on a fixed day shift schedule.

This is a Contract position based out of Port Washington, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
