The Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation at Columbia University Irving Medical Center seeks a Program Manager to support the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Program
. This position will provide operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic oversight for a rapidly expanding clinical and translational research portfolio focused on advancing innovative therapies for children with brain tumors.

• Working closely with the Neuro-Oncology Program Director, investigators, research staff, sponsors, and collaborating institutions, the Program Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of a growing research enterprise, facilitate communication among stakeholders, monitor study progress, and support the strategic expansion of groundbreaking clinical research activities aimed at improving outcomes for children with brain tumors.
• Oversee operations of the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Program and coordinate multiple concurrent clinical trials focused on blood-brain barrier technologies and novel therapeutic approaches for pediatric neuro-oncology patients.
• Coordinate participation and onboarding of collaborating institutions and clinical trial sites. Ensure participating sites maintain required regulatory approvals, study documentation, training requirements, and compliance standards.
• Manage all aspects of multi-site trial operations, including study activation, site communication, enrollment tracking, milestone monitoring, issue resolution, and ongoing performance assessment.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, workflows, and reporting mechanisms to support successful execution of clinical and translational research initiatives.
• Monitor Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions, amendments, continuing reviews, protocol deviations, and regulatory reporting requirements. Ensure all studies maintain compliance with institutional, state, federal, sponsor, and funding agency requirements.
• Oversee financial management of program-supported grants, gifts, and clinical trial budgets. Monitor expenditures, prepare financial projections and reports, ensure fiscal accountability, and coordinate with departmental finance and research administration teams.
• Serve as the primary liaison among investigators, sponsors, philanthropic stakeholders, research personnel, regulatory offices, and collaborating institutions to facilitate communication and achieve program objectives.
• Assist with identifying grant opportunities, working on grant submissions.
• Assist with protocol development.
• Support development and growth of the Neuro-Oncology Program by assisting with strategic planning, grant submissions, philanthropic reporting, program metrics, and expansion of research infrastructure needed to support future clinical trials.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience required; plus, three years of related experience.
