Position: Database Analysts (Associate)-Clinical Data Collection Strategies
Location: New York

ROLE SUMMARY

You will be responsible forthe programming of high-quality clinical databases.

You will support assigned segments of the Pfizer portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include the design, development, and maintenance of clinical databases, ensuring the integrity of clinical data, application of standards supporting consistency in asset/submission data.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with department roles and cross-functional study team members to create data capture solutions that support the quality andtimelydelivery of datarequiredper standard and study specific data review plans
  • Complies with applicable SOPs and work practices
  • Learns Pfizerdatabasetechnologies
  • Develops knowledge of data capture tools and methods that support the accuracy and integrity of study data
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a Life Science discipline, Computer Science or other relevant discipline
  • Minimum of1 year of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or Regulatory Agency with an emphasis on building data collection and assimilation solutions
  • Experience in Oracle, PL/SQL, SAS, Java, relational database design
  • Database programming skills
  • Strong communication skills, written, verbal and presentation
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel)

Work Location:

Must work on-site an average of 2.5 days per week and live within commuting distance to the site.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience using relational databases (e.g.,Oracle InForm, Oracle DMW, MS SQLServerorMS Access)
  • Understanding of drug development process and data operationsrequiredfor the reporting of clinical trial data (e.g.data review, study reports, regulatory submissions, safety updates)
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and relevant data standards

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $68,600.00 to $. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
