We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Assistant
- Per Diem. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing project/program support and a variety of moderately complex clerical functions (gathers, receives, classifies, reconciles and consolidates data, moderate data analysis, coordinates efforts (e.g., scheduling appointments, tracking, supervising surveys, preparing presentations, etc.) with assigned staff, compiles information and prepares reports, summarizes documents, responds to routine and non-routine inquiries and complaints, greets and directs visitors, etc.)

and other related duties for a supervisor or department. Works under general supervision.

• Conduct field-based ethnographic observations in community and service settings, including taking detailed fieldnotes, documenting implementation processes, and identifying emergent themes relevant to study aims.
• Recruit, screen, consent, and enroll study participants in accordance with IRB-approved protocols and trauma-informed, participant-centered research practices.
• Administer structured surveys and other study instruments using REDCap or other approved data collection platforms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of participant data.
• Distribute participant incentives, including Clin Cards, in accordance with study protocols, institutional policies, and documentation requirements.
• Support and facilitate Photo Voice sessions, including preparing materials, guiding participants through photo reflection activities, supporting group discussion, and assisting with participant-centered dissemination activities.
• Buildand maintain respectful, professional relationships with participants, community partners, site staff, and research team members.
• Assist with day-to-day field operations, including scheduling participants, tracking attendance, preparing study materials, troubleshooting field logistics, and communicating updates to the project team.
• Follow all research ethics, confidentiality, safety, and mandated reporting procedures, including maintaining secure records and protecting participant privacy.
• Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, trainings, and debriefs to support data quality, field safety, and fidelity to study protocols.

• To qualify you must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365
• Strong analytical ability, critical thinking, and proactive problem-solving skills
• Must be organized, detailed-orientated, dependable and flexible
• Have excellent oral/written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding design and implementation

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Sociology or Psychology
• 2 years of work experience in a research or academic setting.
