Summer Internship - Environmental

• Assist with field data collection and environmental monitoring, including wetlands, habitats, wildlife, and water quality surveys.
• Support biological assessments, habitat evaluations, and species impact assessments under the guidance of project managers and technical specialists.
• Record, organize, and enter technical data; assist with data analysis and preparation of graphs and tables.
• Learn and follow established methodologies, protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
• Utilize GPS devices and digital cameras in fieldwork.
• Follow all Atwell safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources, Wildlife Management, Wildlife Biology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of native and invasive plant species identification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and familiarity with file-sharing platforms.
• Basic GPS data collection skills
• Ability to navigate diverse and rugged terrain in varying weather conditions while carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with project managers, clients, and technicians.

Our standard intern pay rates range from $19-$27 per hour.
