As a Security Officer – Financial Patrol – Overnights in New York, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to requests, and deliver customer service through clear communication.

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including lobbies, office areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting concerns and/or maintenance issues per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation and contacting appropriate resources as directed by post orders.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and service requests in required reports and/or logs, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• Be 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
