Job DescriptionPosition Purpose: The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store/multiple stores. Responsibilities include identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture. They prepare detailed case reports, preserve evidence, interact with law enforcement, and testify in court.
The specialist reports hazards, minimizes injury risks, demonstrates integrity, and supports operational objectives while focusing on store-specific goals.
