• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating clearly with clinical teams and following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes, checking doors, access points, and sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and visitor flow as assigned, verifying credentials, directing guests to appropriate destinations, and helping maintain orderly movement through the facility.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift handoffs, and/or coordinate with supervisors and local law enforcement or medical personnel when needed.

• Have at least 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 or more years of age. (Unarmed roles require 18+; armed roles require 21+.)
• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access Control or Badge Experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
