As an Allied Universal Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control by greeting associates and drivers, verifying credentials, logging visitors, and monitoring entry and exit activity. You will remain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, and report concerns to help support smooth operations.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in, issuing badges when authorized, and maintaining required logs.

+ Monitor inbound and outbound traffic flow for a logistics and distribution location, including coordinating with dispatch and warehouse teams, checking delivery documentation when assigned, and directing drivers to designated areas.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and notifying the appropriate personnel per post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading dock areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
