Security Officer - Entry Screening Desk - Lower Manhattan

Location: New York

Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by following site-specific screening procedures, access policies, and/or emergency response instructions at a government location;
Operate screening equipment and perform screening of persons, packages, and property in accordance with post orders, including directing individuals through checkpoints and managing secondary screening when needed;
Control entry by verifying identification, credentials, and/or authorized access lists, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining orderly queues at screening areas;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command and documenting actions taken;
Complete required documentation such as screening logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal management and site representatives
