Security Officer - Flex Unarmed Walkthrough Patrol

Location: New York

Allied Universal - Up to $18.02/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.;
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.;
Monitor access control points and visitor flow, verify authorization as required, and report irregularities such as propped doors, restricted-area violations, and/or unattended items.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and/or fire and utility alarms, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or responding agencies.;
Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, escalate issues through the chain of command, and assist with maintaining order during sensitive healthcare operations such as after-hours activity and/or high-traffic periods.
