Security Officer - Gatehouse Patrol Relief

Location: New York

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to building tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, loading docks, stairwells, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or access control concerns.;
Monitor access points and building activity, verify credentials as required, and document security-related incidents, patrols, and observations in reports and/or electronic systems.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site management and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.;
Support property operations by providing directions, assisting with tenant and/or visitor inquiries, and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
