• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions in required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, identify security-related concerns, and report issues to site contacts.
• Monitor entrances, exits, hallways, and/or other designated areas, verify access permissions when required, and assist with visitor processing in accordance with site procedures.
• Support staff and visitors with directions, information, and/or assistance during routine operations, medical-related activity, and emergency situations while following Allied Universal and site protocols.

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
