• Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an armed post.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or security-related concerns in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support a professional presence at a dynamic tech, media, or telecom location by maintaining awareness of changing conditions, assisting with inquiries, and completing required reports and logs.

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
