$18.35 / Hour

Daytime – Mon 2:00 AM - 10:00 AM, Tue 2:00 AM - 10:00 AM, Wed 2:00 AM - 10:00 AM, Sat 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, dock doors, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help verify entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
• Observe operational areas for security-related concerns such as damaged gates, unsecured doors, lighting issues, and/or suspicious behavior, and report findings to the appropriate site contact.

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
