The ExperienceSenior Manager, Physical Security (Northeast US locations – New York, Boston, Washington DC). Office‑based, in‑person role reporting to Senior Director of Physical Security.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing- Lead and mentor a regional team of security professionals across multiple locations.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on physical security operations within the Area of Responsibility (AoR), overseeing access control, guard force staffing, and enterprise risk management in alignment with global security standards.
- Manage security for in‑region and on‑campus events, support large‑scale public‑facing events, and lead emergency response initiatives including crisis management plans, tabletop exercises, and live drills.
- Oversee the regional security budget, vendor relationships, and quarterly business reviews, capturing key metrics and reporting on KPIs.
- 10+ years of experience in security operations or a closely related field.
- Proven track record leading security teams focused on operations, training, and budgeting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, able to perform under pressure with excellent presentation, writing, research, and analysis abilities.
- Developed relationships with federal, state, and local law enforcement and proactive intelligence gathering to mitigate workplace violence and security risks.
- Experience in a fast‑paced corporate environment.
- Eager to expand expertise into Risk Intelligence, Threat Monitoring, Investigations and Incident Response, Executive Protection, Security Systems and Technology, or Project Management.

The typical base salary range for this position is $143,400 - $216,900 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas, the base salary range is $172,200 - $236,700 annually. The range represents base salary only and does not include bonus, incentive, equity, or benefits.
