Asset Protection Specialist - Williamsburg

Summary

The Asset Protection Specialist will support the safety and security of the Hermès Williamsburg boutique, its people, premises and merchandise. The role enforces company policy and conducts audits, inspections and incident reporting while partnering with store management and outside security. This position will perform daily monitoring of transactional reports and supervise off-site sales activity.

• Provide post coverage and stock security for the Williamsburg boutique.
• Enforce Asset Protection policies and control access for associates and visitors.
• Conduct routine safety and physical security inspections and maintain related documentation and audits.
• Review transactions and reports (negatives, voids, returns) daily and report findings to the Area Asset Protection Manager.
• Manage outsourced guards and coordinate with local law enforcement for theft or security incidents.

• 1-3 years of asset protection or retail security experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8-hour pre-assignment and 16-hour on-the-job certificates;
  Security License mandatory in NYC.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and service orientation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and handle merchandise, and operate necessary equipment.
