Safety & Security Advisor – Glenmont Job Corps

Location:

Glenmont, NY 12077. Position Type:
Full Time. Salary: $18.73 - $18.73 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the campus, students, staff, and visitors.
  • Conduct routine patrols and inspections of facilities and grounds.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns.
  • Enforce center policies and procedures to promote a secure environment.
  • Prepare accurate reports and documentation related to incidents and observations.
  • Collaborate with staff and leadership to support a positive student experience.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Advanced degrees preferred.
  • Prefer Job Corps or related program experience.
  • Must possess a valid in-state Driver’s License and meet company insurability requirements.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds or assess the lift load to ask for necessary assistance.
